The 100th Follower Milestone: It Took So Long, But I still Got There

100 follows

This blog has just recorded its’ 100th WordPress follower. It took me so long to get there, but I still got there. And future possibilities are beckoning….

For you experienced bloggers that have thousands of WP followers in your kitty, a hundred might not mean so much to you. But to a rookie like me, just like any other new kid on the block, it is certainly not an insignificant milestone.

How time flies! I remember how happy I felt when I recorded the first five WP followers on this blog (and these were not family and friends!). In my heart, I was like, “wow, this is great!”

That was several months ago. Here I am now talking about 100 awesome WordPress bloggers who are following this blog. Thank you all for the huge favour!

To think that it took a whopping 67 posts, seen by a total of 1,625 visitors to the site in 3,097 views in over 14 long months to reach the hundredth mark followership is not an easy piece of cake. That is not to say that I have not been having fun all the way; it’s been a great experience writing this blog, to say the least. ALLTIME POSTS AND OTHER STATS

It may not appear to be such a great breakthrough. But I don’t want to let it pass unheralded.

That’s why I have decided to use this post to share the ‘goodnews’ (is that not what it is?) with you.

And I am doing so for the following four simple reasons:

  1. For the records and in memory of little beginnings. After all, the Bible admonishes that we “Despise not the days of little beginnings…” Even though I still have a long way to go, I remain grateful for getting this far.
  1. In appreciation of everyone of you who have been so kind to be one of my followers on this blog. Thank you so much for your support this far. In the words of Mike Murdock, “What you made happen for me, God will make happen for you.”
  1. To invite more people to join the over 100 fantastic followers of this blog. There is something for everyone. The taste of the pudding, they say, is in the eating! Please follow or Subscribe to the blog.
  1. To encourage you new or intending WP bloggers not to give up. You can do it too. Stay in the game. Don’t give up. You will get there!

We are victors together in this corner. Let’s continue to inspire one another unto greater things.

Any memorable milestone in your blogging experience? Please share with us.
