It Is Finished!

Statements of Jesus on the cross
Redemption: Jesus finished the work on the cross.

“It is finished.”
It is more than just a sentence…
It is the final verdict from the lips of Jesus,
Meaning, the work is completely done…
Just as it was planned from the beginning.

The price of justice is fully paid for.
The sacrifice is complete and adequate.
I am forever  ransomed, redeemed
My sins are totally forgiven…
A new beginning is now mine.

The veil is rented in two…
The great chasm bridged, blockade removed.
Access to  God the Father is granted
By the sacrifice of God the Son.
My relationship with the Godhead fully restored.

The battle is over… won and lost
My Jesus is the victorious One.
The seed of the serpent bruised His heel
But the Seed of the woman crushed the head of the serpent.
Satan is defeated, shamed, disgraced forever…

Nothing has been left undone…
My past, my present and my future
All fully taken care of by His blood.
The work of redemption is complete.
Nothing can undo what He has finished.

I like how you express yourself through your Poetry Victor, it flows smoothly and expresses your heart well and has touched mine too.

It is True when we are in Christ Jesus we show we are, we are a New Creation the Old sinful Nature has gone the New has come as we see confirmed in the Scripture below.

1 John 3:9 No one who is Born of God will continue to Sin, because God’s Seed remains in him he cannot go on Sinning because he has been Born of God.

As we know Victor Jesus was conceived by The Holy Spirit and so had God’s Seed not Mankind’s and so did not Sin although Tempted by Satan and when we are Born Again of the Holy Spirit we Have God’s Seed so we also do not Sin, as we see also confirmed below in Scripture, this means we come close to God and Satan flees, good and evil cannot co-exist, when we walk in Holiness and Righteousness Satan cannot have a foothold, so the work of the Cross in our lives is finished.

1 John 5:18-20 We know that no one who is Born of God Sins but He who was Born of God keeps him and the evil one does not touch him.

1 John 3: 1-11 ( 6-7 ) Whosoever abideth in Him Sinneth not: whosoever Sinneth hath not seen Him neither known Him. Little Children let no Man deceive you he that doeth Righteousness is Righteous even as He is Righteous.

John 8:34-36 Jesus replied; “I tell you the Truth everyone who Sins is a Slave to Sin. Now a Slave has no permanent place in the family but a son belongs to it forever” So if the Son sets you free you will be free indeed.

Romans 6:6- 7 For we know that our old self was Crucified with Him so that the body of Sin might be done away with that we should no longer be Slaves to Sin because anyone who has died has been freed from Sin.

Romans 6:18-20 Being then made Free from Sin ye became the Servants of Righteousness.

1 John 2:4-6 He that saith I know Him and keepeth not His Commandments is a liar and the truth is not in him. But whoso keepeth His word in him verily is the Love of God perfected hereby know we that we are in Him. He that saith he bideth in Him ought himself also so to walk even as He walked.

Luke 6:45-46 A good Man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.

Romans 8:1-4 There is therefore now no Condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus who walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit.

    Christian Love Always – Anne.
